4. POSITIONING AND PAINTING THE ANTLERS
Before you paint the antlers drill a hole for them, place them in the head, balance them, and trim them off as needed.
Place them in matched sets if you are doing more than one deer at a time.
This photo was at my first go at painting antlers, I used GRAY primer first and had to topcoat that with brown paint.
Later I bought brown primer and used it WOW!! ONE COLOR....ONE COAT...
To attach the antlers, use a little Super Glue or carpenters glue to hold them in place.
